Job summary

BAH Partners, a leading hedge fund, is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to own the Investment platform in Hong Kong. You will remain hands-on while partnering with Portfolio Managers, Traders and Risk professionals across APAC.

You will build investment tools for analysis, simulation, risk and trading workflows, deliver production solutions across front end, back end and data layers, and influence the platform's global roadmap.

Qualifications

• Around 5+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer.
• Back-end experience with an object-oriented language, ideally C# or Java.
• Experience with a modern front-end framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and data-driven applications.
• Experience delivering and supporting production applications across the full tech stack.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills, with experience working directly with business users to shape technical solutions.
• Understanding of portfolio-management, trading, and risk workflows.
• Self-directed and regional representative of a global engineering team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Based in Hong Kong or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technology partner for APAC portfolio managers, traders, and risk professionals
• Build and enhance investment tools covering analysis, simulation, risk, and trading workflows
• Deliver production solutions across the front end, back end, data layer, and integrated workflows
• Represent regional investment requirements and influence the platform's global roadmap
• Own substantial regional workstreams from requirements gathering through development and production delivery
• Build trusted relationships with senior investment stakeholders and adjacent engineering team
