Job summary

Gravitas Recruitment Group Hong Kong is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for Derivatives Trading Systems in major APAC hubs. You will design and implement end-to-end solutions spanning market data, order management, and risk dashboards.

In this role you’ll work on high-performance front-end and scalable back-end services, using TypeScript, React, C++ or Python, and collaborate with traders to deliver robust, production-grade software that scales across global markets.

Qualifications

Experience building full-stack applications.
Proficiency with TypeScript and React.
Experience with backend design using C++ or Python.
Strong understanding of distributed systems, async workflows, and API design.
Great problem-solving and communication skills.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

Application Development: Build end-to-end tools for market data, order management, and portfolio risk tracking.
UI/UX Design: Create dashboards displaying real-time market depth and system health.
Backend Systems: Design scalable backend services and APIs.
Business Growth: Support expansion into new global markets and products.
Prototyping: Rapidly prototype ideas into production systems.
