APAC Financial Data Product Lead: Client Onboarding

Job summary

Rippling Hong Kong Limited is seeking a proactive lead to deliver and support Intropic's financial data products to institutional clients across the APAC region, Hong Kong included. You will be the first contact for hedge funds, asset managers, banks and trading firms during Asian trading hours.

You will onboard new clients via API, SFTP and web portal, configure licenses and permissions, validate data delivery, and resolve integration issues while tailoring access to client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial data, index products, equity markets or a client-facing product/sales-support role.
• Strong knowledge of global equity index methodologies and passive/index fund rebalance mechanics.
• Hands-on experience with data delivery and integration (REST APIs, SFTP, CSV/JSON datasets).
• Experience with data tools such as Excel, SQL and/or Python.
• Experience managing client permissions, licensing and onboarding for institutional data products.
• Proven ability to support demanding institutional clients under time pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and ongoing support of financial data products to institutional clients in the APAC region.
• Onboard new clients and manage their integration via API, SFTP and web portal.
• Configure data access, licences and permissions.
• Validate data delivery and resolve integration issues.
• Act as the first point of contact for clients during Asian trading hours.
• Run product demonstrations and trials.
• Prepare proposals and order forms.
• Support renewals and upsells.
• Relay client feedback to the product team.
