Job summary

S&P Global Ratings is seeking an experienced Credit Research professional in Hong Kong to join the Credit Market Research team. You will shape and manage fixed income research projects, focusing on APAC, and deliver high-quality reports and thought leadership.

Collaborate with senior analysts, manage data analysis, and publish timely commentary. Strong quantitative skills, Excel, and SQL/Python experience are essential. Fluency in English is required; Mandarin is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant fixed income and macro data analysis.
• Experience in credit markets (buy/sell side or research/advisory).
• Ability to translate data and market trends into written commentary.
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with databases and tools such as Oracle SQL or Python.
• Self-management, initiative, meeting deadlines, and end-to-end publication ownership.
• English fluent; Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, analyze, and validate datasets on ratings, pricing, credit derivatives, and macro data.
• Monitor global credit market trends and regional financing conditions, esp. APAC.
• Own recurring publications from data analysis to final publication.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research and statistical analysis of market trends.
• Draft clear commentary to support research observations and meet deadlines.
• Present findings to external clients and internal stakeholders.
