Job summary

Swiss Re is seeking an experienced Compliance professional in Hong Kong to lead the development and execution of the APAC Compliance Strategy in alignment with the Group Program. You will promote a culture of integrity, monitor regulatory developments, and provide advisory support to the business on Compliance risks and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Head of Compliance APAC in developing, managing and executing the Compliance Strategy and Plan in Hong Kong in alignment with the Group Compliance Program.
• Promote and drive a strong Compliance and Integrity culture throughout the region.
• Manage monitoring of regulatory developments to ensure all regulatory requirements are known, are adhered to and associated risks are adequately mitigated.
• Provide the business and other internal stakeholders with enabling support and advisory in managing Compliance risks and support them in implementing Compliance related procedures.
• Participate in Governance and Risk committee meetings to ensure effective governance and control frameworks are in place and the risks are effectively mitigated.
• Conduct Compliance Risk Assessments to identify inherent Compliance risks and assess mitigating controls within the business.
• Develop and deliver tailored Compliance training, awareness and communications to ensure internal knowledge is kept up to date with changing regulatory requirements and the company's Compliance Policies and Standards.
• Ensure alignment between Group Compliance Policies and Standards and local regulatory requirements, including ongoing oversight and maintenance of local Compliance policies and procedures.
• Provide regular Compliance reporting to senior management and committees internally and regulatory authorities externally as appropriate.
• Perform the role of Compliance Key Function Holder with the Insurance Authority in relation to Swiss Re's regulated entities in Hong Kong.
