Qualifications
- 15+ years in L&H (re)insurance with strong technical underwriting/claims expertise.
- Recognised technical leader with credibility for senior stakeholder guidance.
- Strong understanding of underwriting philosophy, risk assessment and appetite.
- Governance mindset with experience in technical assurance and remediation.
- Proven ability to develop technical communities and future leaders.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for L&H Underwriting & Claims across APAX and translate global philosophy into the regional context.
- Ensure consistent application of underwriting/claims standards across APAX.
- Drive evolution of underwriting approaches using data, technology and new methods.
- Own senior regional Underwriting & Claims relationships with key clients.
- Lead technical governance and quality assurance for Underwriting & Claims.
- Develop technical talent and future leaders across markets and centers.
