Swiss Re Asia Pte. Ltd. in Hong Kong is seeking a Compliance Officer to support the Head of Compliance APAC in identifying, managing and controlling Compliance Risks across the APAC region. The role focuses on executing the Compliance Strategy and ensuring governance, integrity culture and regulatory alignment.

You will work with Compliance colleagues across APAC, interact with regulators, and provide advisory to internal stakeholders on compliance risk management and related procedures.

Formación

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Compliance, business consultancy, risk management, audit or related areas for insurance or financial institutions.
• Strong knowledge in regulatory requirements/topics in various Compliance subjects and understanding of risk management programs.
• Proven experience and ability to work effectively with regulators.
• Excellent decision making, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Experience in an international environment is a plus and English proficiency is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with Head of Compliance APAC to develop, manage and execute the Compliance Strategy and Plan in Hong Kong.
• Promote and drive a strong Compliance and Integrity culture across APAC.
• Monitor regulatory developments and mitigate related risks.
• Provide enabling support and advisory to business units on Compliance issues.
• Participate in Governance and Risk committee meetings to ensure robust governance.
• Conduct Compliance Risk Assessments and identify mitigating controls.
• Develop and deliver tailored Compliance training and communications.
• Ensure alignment between Group Policies and local regulations; oversee local policies.
