Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics seeks an experienced Head of Air Freight to lead the Asia Pacific region, drive growth, and ensure operational excellence across markets. You will shape regional strategy, oversee end-to-end operations, and manage carrier partnerships in a fast-paced multinational environment.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in air freight/logistics with strong leadership, P&L ownership, and a data-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Typically 10+ years in freight forwarding, air freight, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Significant leadership experience managing regional or multi-country air freight operations.
• Proven track record in P&L ownership, business growth, and operational performance improvement.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Asia Pacific air freight strategy in alignment with global and regional objectives.
• Lead end-to-end air freight operations across the region with standardization and service quality.
• Own regional P&L performance, including revenue growth, margin improvement, and cost control.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and business reviews to drive continuous improvement.
• Lead carrier sourcing, contract negotiation, capacity planning, and network optimization.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, airlines, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Support RFQs, pricing strategy, customer retention, and new business development.
• Ensure compliance with customs, trade regulations, safety standards, and local rules.
