Job summary

DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited seeks an Analyst to AVP, Assistant Relationship Manager in Private Banking to support senior Relationship Managers serving high-net-worth clients. You will oversee the client lifecycle, ensure timely KYC, and collaborate with service providers to deliver premium, timely wealth management and financial solutions.

The role requires a degree in business/finance, 3+ years in private banking, strong client relations, and fluent English and Chinese with Putonghua.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Finance or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years of private banking or wealth management experience.
• SFO Types 1 and 4 license is a must.
• Strong client relationship and communication skills.
• English and Chinese language proficiency; Putonghua fluency required.

Responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers in delivering differentiated service to high net-worth clients and contribute to retention and growth.
• Oversee the client account lifecycle from opening to closure.
• Ensure timely and accurate KYC documentation and compliance.
• Collaborate with service providers to ensure timely transaction processing and superior service.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships and deliver client-focused solutions.
• Assist Relationship Managers in daily maintenance of client relationships.
• Serve as the main contact point for client instructions, fund payments, and loan disbursement preparation.

Responsibilities

• Support Relationship Managers in providing differentiated service to high net-worth customers and contribute to customer retention and growth
• Oversee the whole client account lifecycle from account opening, maintenance to closure
• Ensure KYC process is completed on time and all documentation is accurate, compliant, and finalized
• Collaborate with business support and service providers to ensure timely transaction processing and delivery of customer-focused service to exceed customer expectations
• Establish customer relationships, know the customers to gain their confidence and trust, and deliver customer-focused solutions
• Assist Relationship Managers in the daily maintenance of customer relationships
• Serve as customers’ key contact point in initiating customer instructions, monitoring fund payment, and preparing loans disbursement instructions

Requirements

• Degree holder in Business, Finance or related disciplines
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a private banking or wealth management environment, preferably in a client-servicing or support role.
• Solid experience in building customer relationships is an advantage
• Qualified to carry out Investment regulated activities (Types 1 and 4) under Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO) is a must
• Customer-focused, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is a must
