Job summary

Guotai Junan International Holdings Limited in Hong Kong seeks an Analyst/Assistant Manager for Counterparty Risk. You will evaluate counterparty credit risk, prepare credit memos, propose limits, and participate in due diligence and documentation negotiations.

You will handle CCR-related collateralization, monitor exposures, and coordinate with risk teams and front-line units to ensure timely reporting and controls.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance / Risk Management / Business.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in financial institutions.
• Knowledge of derivatives is a plus.
• CFA/FRM is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills under time pressure.
• Detail oriented and team player with good planning and execution.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist to evaluate counterparty credit risk and prepare credit memos.

Job description

Analyst/ Assistant Manager, Counterparty Risk

Assist to evaluate counterparty credit risk, prepare credit memo, propose credit limits and make recommendations

Prepare risk assessment of potential counterparties, prepare and participate in due diligence when required

Participate or assist to participate in documentation negotiation

Perform CCR related collateralization and margin call exercise

Monitor counterparty credit profile, negative news and exposures and elevate properly

Communicate or assist to communicate with senior members of risk team, front line business units, and other support functions on CCR related issues

Perform CCR related reporting tasks on the required time frame, undertake reporting design and enhancement when required, participate in UAT and report testing

Requirements:

Degree holder in Finance / Risk Management / Business or other related discipline

2-4 years of relevant experiences in investment banks, securities firms, commercial banks, or other financial institutions a plus

Have knowledge and experience in dealing with derivatives products is an advantage

Other professional qualification such as CFA/FRM is a plus

Strong problem solving skills and able to work under time pressure

Detail oriented and good team player with good planning as well as execution capabilities

Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
