China Securities (International) Finance Holding Company Limited is seeking an Associate / Senior Associate to support the Head of Risk Management in overseeing counterparty credit risk across the firm’s activities. The role involves maintaining a rigorous risk monitoring framework, developing risk policies, and ensuring exposures stay within regulatory requirements and internal risk appetite.

Support the Head of Risk Management in overseeing counterparty credit risk across the Company's activities. Maintain a rigorous risk monitoring framework to ensure exposures remain within regulatory requirements and internal risk appetite.
Assist in the development and management of policies, procedures, and systems that support the front-office for OTC derivatives and related businesses.
Establish, review, and monitor counterparty exposure limits; ensure accurate and timely risk data in the risk management system; and produce daily risk reports.
Contribute to the enhancement of counterparty risk measurement models and the continuous improvement of risk system functionalities.
Support the onboarding of new counterparties by reviewing credit terms in legal documentation, including ISDA Master Agreements and Credit Support Annexes (CSAs).
Apply the internal credit rating model to assess and monitor counterparty creditworthiness.
Participate in the monitoring and approval processes for margin financing and other brokerage-related activities.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and the risk teams.
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field
Minimum 3 years' experience in counterparty credit risk management at leading banks or securities firms
Strong understanding of legal agreements (ISDA/CSA, GMRA, GMSLA)
Strong comprehension of cross-border and overseas business operations, with expertise in derivative products and brokerage business
Candidates with less direct counterparty credit risk experience but strong familiarity with SFC margin financing rules and regulations may be considered for a focused margin-financing role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to explain sophisticated technical concepts in clear way is required
Broad market and finance knowledge in different asset class areas and BASEL is an advantage
Strong technical background and practical application of one (or more) of programming languages is required (VBA, Python, C++; Linux applications etc.)
CFA and/or FRM qualification preferred.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua
