Job summary

Charterhouse Limited seeks an Assistant Air Freight Operations Manager to lead a 24/7 shift team handling air export documentation and cargo workflows. You will drive process improvements, coordinate with airlines and IT teams, and ensure timely handover of shipments and records.

The role requires 8+ years in airfreight with 3+ in supervision, HK customs knowledge, and an IATA DGR/awareness certificate preferred. A proactive, data-driven leader will thrive in this environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• At least 8 years in airfreight forwarding with 3+ in supervision.
• Deep knowledge of air export documentation and CTO handling.
• Solid understanding of HK customs and import procedures.
• IATA DGR / Awareness Cert is preferred.
• Strong process improvement and project execution mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 24/7 shift ops team and supervise air export workflows.
• Ensure timely handover of shipments and documentation to CTOs.
• Coordinate with airlines, cargo handlers, and internal teams.
• Test and deploy digital forwarding systems and automation tools.
• Monitor KPI dashboards and drive throughput improvements.
• Support internal audits and regulatory compliance (ISO, GDP, TAPA).
