Job summary

Tat Lee Confectionery and Novelty Co Ltd in Hong Kong seeks a Product Designer to lead AI-driven ideation and develop toy and confectionery products for global clients. You will collaborate with design, engineering and factories, translating AI concepts into manufacturable concepts.

Requirements include a Diploma or Bachelor’s in product/industrial design, proficiency with AI tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Photoshop, Blender, etc.), strong prompt engineering, and excellent English and Mandarin

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Visual Design, Animation, Digital Media, AI or related field.
Proficiency with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, or Adobe Firefly.
Strong prompt engineering skills and quick adaptation to new AI tech.
Creativity, product sense and visual judgment; ability to translate ideas into concepts.

Responsibilities

Use AI tools for product ideation and creative design.
Develop and iterate toys and confectionery concepts for international clients.
Collaborate with engineers, development teams and factories on 3D design and prototyping.
Transform AI-generated concepts into manufacturable products and packaging.
Visit factories as needed to coordinate product development.
Explore new AI/AIGC tools to improve workflow and output.
