The role requires deep knowledge of credit workflows, lending, and core banking systems, with a proven record deploying AI solutions in financial services.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of credit workflows, commercial/retail lending, and core banking systems.
• Proven track record deploying AI solutions (NLP, GenAI, document processing, RPA) in financial services or banking.
• Strong UR analysis, functional design, and solution mapping for AI initiatives.
• Excellent communication, able to explain AI concepts to business users.
• Experience in Hong Kong banking or financial institutions preferred.

Our client is looking for an AI Lead with strong banking experience to shape and execute the bank's AI strategy. You will bridge business needs and technical solutions, with a specific focus on optimising end-to-end credit and loan drawdown workflows across retail and commercial lending.

Key Responsibilities

Review business user requirements (UR) and translate them into practical AI / GenAI / NLP capabilities.

Architect AI solutions to automate credit assessment, document processing, approval workflows, and loan drawdown processes.

Re-engineer the end-to-end loan journey, from application and underwriting through to final fund disbursement.

Act as the key liaison between technology teams and business stakeholders (Risk, Credit, Operations, Product).

Define functional designs, solution mappings, and roadmaps for AI adoption in lending.

Explain complex AI concepts clearly to non-technical business partners and drive adoption.

Required Qualifications

Deep knowledge of credit workflows, commercial/retail lending, and core banking systems.

Proven track record of deploying AI solutions (NLP, GenAI, Document Processing, RPA/Automation) in financial services or banking.

Strong capability in UR analysis, functional design, and solution mapping for AI/tech initiatives.

Excellent communication skills; able to simplify complex AI concepts for business users.

Experience working in Hong Kong banking or financial institutions is highly preferred.
