Job summary

JustOneGalaxy Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced IT project leader to drive end-to-end AI and digital transformation programs in Hong Kong. You will bridge technical delivery and business needs, guiding cross-functional teams from scope to adoption while upholding data governance and security standards.

The role requires 7+ years in IT, strong Python and SQL skills, cloud AI/ML platform experience, and knowledge of banking domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years IT experience with background in tech innovation, tech evaluation, or management consulting preferred.
• Hands-on proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud-based AI/ML platforms; deep mastery of statistical models and ML, including NLP/OCR and time-series forecasting.
• Familiarity with banking domains such as Personal Banking, Wealth Management, Wholesale Banking, Treasury, or Compliance.

Drive end-to-end management of AI and digital transformation projects, leading cross-functional teams (developers, business units, vendors) from scope definition to post-launch adoption. Serve as the bridge between technical execution and business needs while ensuring strict adherence to data governance, security, and enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery: Lead end-to-end project lifecycles, maintaining timelines, risk logs, resource allocations, and change control.

Stakeholder Alignment: Gather business requirements, define success metrics, and manage governance and user adoption (training, communications, rollout).

Technical Collaboration: Work with AI engineers to build and integrate robust, high-performing solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.

Experience: Ideally 7+ years in IT, with background in tech innovation, tech evaluation, or management consulting preferred.

Technical Expertise: Hands-on proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud-based AI/ML platforms. Deep mastery of statistical models, Machine Learning, and domain applications (NLP, OCR, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, time-series forecasting).

Domain Knowledge: Preferred familiarity with banking sectors (Personal Banking, Wealth Management, Wholesale Banking, Treasury, or Compliance).

Soft Skills: Strong leadership, self-motivation, independent decision-making, and high-level negotiation/facilitation skills.

Languages: Professional fluency in written/spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese); Putonghua fluency is highly desirable.
