The role blends legal research, editorial oversight, and AI-assisted content development to meet customer needs while upholding publishing standards.

You will manage the editorial lifecycle, monitor legislation, and collaborate with technology, product, and operations teams to improve workflows and expand offerings,

Qualifications

• JD, LLB, or equivalent law degree.
• Strong legal research, analytical, and legal writing skills.
• Excellent editorial, proofreading, and attention to detail.
• Sound understanding of statutory interpretation, legislation, legal research, and legal publishing.
• Experience working with Microsoft Office applications and online legal research tools.
• Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop, review, edit, and maintain legal commentary, analytical content, legislation, and related publications.
• Analyse legislative changes and implement statutory updates across print and digital products.
• Draft and maintain editor's notes, effective date notes, legislative histories, annotations, cross-references, and explanatory materials.
• Monitor legal developments, case law, legislation, court rules, and regulatory changes to keep publications current.
• Perform legal research to verify authorities, citations, and editorial accuracy.
• Conduct proofreading review and quality assurance across publishing platforms.
• Prepare original legal content and analytical commentary as required.
