Job summary

The Canadian International School of Hong Kong (CDNIS) seeks an AI Lead and Computer Science Teacher (Upper School) for the 2027-2028 year. You will deliver IB MYP/DP CS instruction, lead AI integration in teaching and learning, and support colleagues in the responsible use of AI.

You will plan engaging lessons to build programming skills, assess progress, and contribute to policies on academic integrity and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid teaching license and have at least two years of relevant teaching experience, ideally at an IB school.
• Experience leading educational technology or AI initiatives, or as an IB examiner, is considered an asset.
• Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach IB MYP and DP Computer Science and lead the Upper School's approach to artificial intelligence in teaching and learning.
• Plan and deliver engaging, innovative lessons that develop students' programming skills, problem-solving, and understanding of emerging technologies.
• Assess, monitor and support students' progress using formative and summative assessment aligned with IB criteria.
• Guide the responsible and ethical use of AI across the Upper School, including supporting colleagues through professional learning and informing policy on academic integrity.
