Qualifications

• 15 years IT experience with enterprise applications, software delivery and IT operations.
• 5+ years in a senior management role overseeing multi-disciplinary tech teams and large-scale portfolios.
• Proven ERP/CRM/bespoke platforms delivery from inception to post-go-live.
• Bachelor's degree; Master's/MBA preferred.
• Strong understanding of SaaS integration, APIs, databases, and SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation and lifecycle management for enterprise applications (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, Salesforce, BIM/EDMS) or bespoke software.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications, architectures and roadmaps.
• Align application strategy with delivery timelines, goals and KPIs.
• Drive process optimization, change management and user adoption.
• Oversee hybrid/multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and database hosting.
• Enforce cybersecurity, data privacy, IAM, and compliance (ISO 27001, GDPR).
• Establish BC/DR plans and data backups for critical systems.
• Lead vendor selection, RFPs, negotiations with SIs, SaaS providers and software houses.
• Manage licensing costs, SLA compliance and vendor delivery quality.
• Forecast OpEx/CapEx budgets for enterprise software.

About the job

• Lead end-to-end implementation and lifecycle management for enterprise applications, including SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, Salesforce, BIM/EDMS platforms, or bespoke software solutions.

• Translate business strategies and project requirements into robust functional technical specifications, solution architectures, and digital rollout roadmaps.

• Define, implement, and align application strategies with overarching corporate delivery timelines, business goals, and key operational KPIs.

• Drive business process optimisation, change management initiatives, and end-user adoption across all newly deployed software platforms.

• Oversee underlying hybrid and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), network connectivity, and database hosting infrastructure supporting enterprise platforms.

• Enforce robust cybersecurity frameworks, data privacy protocols, access management (IAM), and international compliance standards (e.g. ISO 27001, GDPR).

• Establish business continuity plans, disaster recovery strategies, and data backup mechanisms for critical application databases and user repositories.

• Lead vendor selection, RFP processes, and contract negotiations for System Integrators (SIs), SaaS providers, and software development agencies.

• Manage vendor delivery quality, system integration milestones, SLA compliance, and software licence cost optimisations.

• Formulate and manage enterprise software Operating (OpEx) and Capital (CapEx) expenditure budgets, providing accurate forecasting and variance analysis to executive leadership.

Skills & Experience Required

• With nearly 15 years of total progressive IT experience, featuring a proven track record in enterprise applications, software delivery, and IT operations.

• At least 5+ years in a senior management / head-of-department role (e.g. AGM / Assistant General Manager / Head of IT) overseeing multi-disciplinary tech teams and large-scale digital portfolios.

• Proven track record of successfully delivering major enterprise software implementations (ERP, CRM, bespoke platforms, or data ecosystems) from inception to post-go-live support in Hong Kong or regional markets.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline. (Master’s degree or MBA is highly preferred).

• Deep understanding of enterprise platform architectures, SaaS integration, API management, database management (SQL/NoSQL), and release pipelines across SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall frameworks.

• Strong executive presence with exceptional stakeholder management, change management, and business analysis capabilities.

• Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), TOGAF, or ITIL v3/v4 are highly advantageous.
