Qualifications

• University graduate in Actuarial Science or related discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience in the life insurance industry, preferably in financial reporting area.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as a good team player.
• Self-motivated, able to work under pressure.
• Good command of business English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with Prophet would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Support IFRS valuation including earning and CSM under IFRS 9 and IFRS 17; analyze financial results and provide conclusions during reporting and forecasts.
• Monitor end-to-end reporting process from model runs to results checking against methodology and assumptions.
• Maintain a clearly documented audit trail of data, assumptions, methods, modelling, process and financial results.
• Support ad-hoc/project-based analysis to support business units in decision making.
• Support and execute financial optimization initiatives.
• Collaborate with other valuation team on reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
• Guide junior team members in handling valuation tasks.
• Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency and accuracy.
