Job summary

AXA Hong Kong and Macau is seeking an Actuarial Manager to lead the Participating Business Management team in Hong Kong. You will oversee the regular production of participating fund valuation, dividend recommendations, and ensure capital adequacy, governance and regulatory compliance.

You will provide expert support to internal and external stakeholders on participating fund management, mentor junior staff, and contribute to product design and strategic asset allocation reviews, while

Qualifications

• University graduate in Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related disciplines.
• 6 or more years of experience in life insurance industry.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently as well as a good team player.
• Good command of business English, both in written and spoken form.
• Prior experience in valuation and use of Prophet is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to manage the participating portfolio.
• Regular production of participating fund valuation and dividend recommendation; manage capital adequacy of participating fund.
• Provide expert support and detailed analyses to internal and external stakeholders in various aspects of participating fund management.
• Ensure proper governance and compliance with regulations, guidelines and internal processes.
• Identify and implement process improvement.
• Maintain proper documentation of data, methodology and processes.
• Supervise and develop junior staff.
