Job summary

Heep Hong Society in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Accounting Officer to support daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, data entry, vouchers preparation, and bank reconciliations. You will assist in month-end and year-end closing, review project budgets, and coordinate with external auditors.

The role requires a Higher Diploma or above in accounting or finance, with hands-on experience in a full set of accounts and familiarity with accounting software.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in accounting, finance or other related disciplines.
• Experience with a full set of accounts.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software; experience handling government subvention is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations (Accounts Payable, data entry, preparing vouchers, bank reconciliation).
• Handle monthly government subvention and claims.
• Assist in month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Review and monitor sponsored projects, budgetary control, and financial forecasts.
• Coordinate with external auditors for project report audits.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as required.
• Prepare full set of accounts and accounting schedules.
