Job summary

Universal Technologies Holdings Limited in Hong Kong's Sheung Wan district is seeking an Accountant to assist in daily accounting operations, including AP/AR, data entry, billing, and GL maintenance. The role involves inter-company settlements and overseeing counterparties to ensure accuracy.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in SAP is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word and Excel.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude, detail-minded, independent, responsible and commit monthly deadline.
• Good command in spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Immediate availability preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily accounting operations for accounts payable and receivable, including data entry, billing, invoice / vouchers handling and general ledger maintenance, as well as inter-company settlement & oversea payment
• Verification of expenses claims and bank payment arrangement
• Support in month-end & year-end closing, bank and account reconciliation
• Coordinate with other departments for the accounting related matters and daily account transactions
• Prepare regular accounting and analysis reports
• Assist in year-end audit and liaise with external auditors
• Assist in inventory movement (the flow of goods and materials), maintain stock buffer and perform stock transfer
• Handle all stock movements and related input in system to ensure data accuracy
• Receipt and issue invoices upon shipment arrival.
• Generate monthly stock report and loan stock report.
• Manage stock level in HK according to demand and supply, place order upon need.
