Job summary

KPMG China is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Assistant to support daily accounting tasks within our Finance team in Hong Kong. The role focuses on preparing reports, processing transactions, and ensuring data accuracy while working closely with regional shared services.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, has at least 1 year of accounting experience, strong MS Excel skills, and a proactive mindset to handle pressure and deadlines in a fast-paced professional

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 1 year accounting experience preferred.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
A good command of both spoken and written English; self-motivated and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Prepare statutory accounts, regulatory reports and other financial reporting
Prepare monthly schedules and analysis
Assist in the automation in work processes, data analysis, schedules and reports
Handle accounts payable work
Coordinate with our regional finance and shared service center in mainland China
Perform ad hoc tasks as required
Provide general administrative support to the department
