Job summary

KPMG (China and Hong Kong SAR) seeks an Accountant in the Finance Department in Hong Kong. You will prepare statutory accounts, regulatory reports, and monthly schedules, and assist with automation, data analysis, and reporting.

You will coordinate with regional finance and the shared service center in mainland China, supporting the department with various accounting tasks. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, at least 1 year of accounting experience,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 1 year accounting experience preferred.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Hands-on experience in accounting software, knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
A good command of both spoken and written English.
Self-motivated, proactive and able to work under pressure.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare statutory accounts, regulatory reports and other financial reporting
Prepare monthly schedules and analysis
Assist in the automation in work processes, data analysis, schedules and reports
Handle accounts payable work
Coordinate with our regional finance and shared service center in mainland China
Perform ad hoc tasks as required
Provide general administrative support to the department
