Job summary

KPMG China in Hong Kong is seeking an Assistant Manager, Financial Services Audit to join our team. You will audit financial statements across HKFRS, IFRS and US GAAP, supervise field staff and act as audit in-charge for engagements, while maintaining regular communication with managers and clients.

The role requires a Bachelor degree or above with 2+ years of external audit experience from a Big 4, English plus Cantonese/Mandarin, and CPA qualification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or above with 2+ years of external audit experience from a Big 4 CPA firm.
• CPA Qualification is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin.

Responsibilities

• Audit financial statements and group reporting packages under HKFRS, IFRS, US GAAP and other European standards.
• Work on assurance engagements such as reviews, SOX, agreed-upon procedures and IPO-related assignments.
• Supervise engagement field teams and conduct performance reviews; provide on-site training.
• Act as the audit in-charge for clients’ fieldwork and assurance assignments.
• Maintain regular communication with the line manager, partner and client on issues and progress.
