Job summary

Grand Alliance Asset Management Limited is hiring a junior fund/accounting professional to support corporate accounting, fund operations and reporting in a busy asset management environment.

The role involves financial statement preparation, portfolio valuations, KYC/AML checks, and collaboration with transfer agency tasks. Fresh graduates or 1+ years' experience are welcome; strong Excel skills and bilingual English/Chinese are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related business discipline with a concentration in Accounting is a must.
• Professional Accountancy qualifications (CPA / ACCA / CA) and/or other equivalent professional qualifications would be an advantage.
• 1+ years of relevant work experience in a role that supports fund / business operations in connection with corporate accounting (particularly, financial statement preparation), fund accounting, or related roles in financial auditing and taxation would be preferred.
• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience in the aforementioned areas may also be considered.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with a strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, detail oriented and well-organized.
• Team player, who possesses a strong sense of responsibility and is able to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist in corporate accounting, including the preparation of financial statements and management reporting, as well as supporting statutory audits.
• Assist in fund accounting and related fund operations, including portfolio valuations and reconciliations, as well as expense and broker soft-commission tracking.
• Support Transfer Agency (TA) tasks, including processes related to investor/client onboarding, Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks.
• Support routine regulatory compliance and firmwide administrative tasks, as needed.
