Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing regular management and financial reports and reporting packages.

• Support internal/external audits and handle ad hoc tasks.

Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Accountant to join our Hong Kong finance team. This is a pivotal, hands-on role that goes beyond routine processing. As a key business partner to our senior management team, you will be responsible for the integrity of daily financial operations, with a specific focus on treasury management, employee reimbursements, and financial compliance. You will become an integral part of our sophisticated financial infrastructure, contributing directly to the firm's operational efficiency and success.

Key responsibilities

Assist with payment processing, staff expense claims, and treasury functions.

Process and execute online banking payments (CHATS, FPS, wire transfers).

Prepare journal entries, accruals, and assist with month-end closing.

Maintain general ledger reconciliations and supporting schedules.

Coordinate intercompany balances and payments with subsidiaries.

Assist in preparing regular management and financial reports, supporting schedules, and reporting packages.

Maintain statutory records (register of members, directors, charges).

Assist with board/minutes resolutions and filing of annual returns.

Assist in preparation of internal and external audit.

Handle ad hoc assignments as required.

About you

Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience.

Hands-on experience with HK online banking platforms.

Diligent, detail-oriented, and able to demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in using accounting and ERP systems.

Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).

Immediate availability is highly preferred.
