Job summary

Alētheia Capital in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced accounting professional to manage daily financial processes, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and intercompany invoicing. You will assist with month-end closing, management reporting and audits, while reinforcing expense control.

Knowledge of accounting principles (prepayment, accrual), MS Office, and Xero is preferred; English fluency is required, Mandarin/Cantonese optional; AI-driven tools are a plus.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of accounting principles (prepayment, accrual)
• Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software; knowledge of Xero is an advantage
• Good command of spoken and written English; Mandarin/Cantonese advantageous but not required
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven tools to enhance efficiency

Responsibilities

• Handle company accounts payable and receivables
• Perform daily bank reconciliation and facilitate payment process
• Be involved in expense management, maintain accuracy of purchase ledger
• Assist in preparation of intercompany invoicing and reconciliation
• Assist with month end closing, management reporting and annual audit
