Job summary

Sau Lee Limited is seeking an Accountant / Assistant Accountant to join the Finance team in Hong Kong. The role covers day-to-day accounting, AP/AR, reconciliations, month-end prep, and maintaining accurate records while supporting the Senior Accountant across reporting and broader finance activities.

This hands-on position offers exposure to the finance operations of a fast-growing international fashion business with ecommerce and wholesale channels.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Proficient with Excel and MS Office.
• Experience with accounting systems; Xero is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including AP and AR, vouchers and records.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare month-end schedules and supporting information for financial and consolidated reporting.
• Monitor receivables, payables and cash flow movements.
• Support the Senior Accountant with financial reporting, budgeting and analysis.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting and payment matters.
• Handle other accounting and finance tasks as required.

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant / Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team and work closely with our Senior Accountant. You will be responsible for a range of day-to-day accounting activities, including AP/AR, reconciliations, month-end preparation and maintaining accurate financial records, while supporting the Senior Accountant across reporting and broader finance activities. This is a hands-on role offering broad exposure to the finance operations of a fast-growing international fashion business across ecommerce and wholesale.

About you

• Diploma or above in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience preferred
• Good understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office
• Experience with accounting systems; Xero experience is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Well-organized, responsible and able to work independently
• Good communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese)
