Hong Kong Baptist Hospital is seeking a Senior/Accountant to join our Finance team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will prepare month-end financial statements with detailed schedules, oversee the General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Inventory, and Fixed Assets, and handle cash flow and other finance analyses.

They will participate in budget processes and audits, and perform ad hoc duties as assigned. Applicants should hold a degree in accounting and be a member of ACCA/HKICPA, with at least

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or related field required.
• ACCA/HKICPA membership preferred.
• Proficient Excel and data analysis skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and ensure timely submission of month end financial statements with breakdown schedules
• Oversee General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Inventory, Fixed Assets and daily accounting operation
• Prepare cash flow, expense and other finance related analysis
• Participate in annual budget process and annual audit
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Degree holder in accounting and member of ACCA/HKICPA
• At least 10 years' relevant experience in accounting and working knowledge of hospital environment or healthcare industry is an advantage
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to work under tight deadlines
• Able to work both independently and as a team member
• Proficient knowledge of accounting system and strong at Microsoft Excel in data analysis
• Good analytical and interpersonal skills
• Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Accountant
