Job summary

Jane Street Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Engineer to manage and maintain our critical physical infrastructure, including trading floors, amenity spaces and food service areas. You will collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and contractors to ensure 24/7 operational reliability.

The role requires strong MEP knowledge, hands-on field problem solving, and the ability to make sound engineering decisions in high-risk environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in maintenance and operation teams of mission-critical data centres or 24/7 environments.
• Experience with MEP plant infrastructure, CRACs, UPS, generators, fire systems.
• Comfortable in IT-centric environments working with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.
• Able to handle field issues without a tradesperson and be on-call.
• Fluent in English; Cantonese/Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain physical infrastructure including trading floors and amenity spaces.
• Manage SLAs with facilities maintenance providers to meet industry standards.
• Lead cross-functional projects and coordinate with vendors, contractors and operations teams.
• Be part of on-call rotation to respond to critical system issues.
• Deliver well-reasoned engineering decisions related to operational risk.
