• Daily management of the supplier portfolio using existing business tools and future digitisation means.
• Anticipation of risks and drive mitigation actions.
• Demand and forecast control.
• Communicate effectively with internal customers, team colleagues, and external suppliers.
• Supply chain prioritisation.
• Challenge supplier performance where appropriate.
• Lead and drive supplier recoveries.
• Understand and define the optimal ordering characteristics and strategy.
• Specify and use process automation.
• Utilize data management tools to inform decisions in the supply chain.
• Manage order book and maintain MRP master data.
• Coordinate supplier working parties.
• Interact transnationally with suppliers (remotely and/or in person) and operate proactively within a procurement community as a partner to the Supply Chain Quality Manager and Commercial Buyer.
• Serve as the first point of contact for supply chain queries from operations.
• Own and optimise procured goods stock.
• Support supply chain and logistics transformation projects.

• Solid experience in supply chain, procurement, manufacturing engineering, or design engineering.
• Experience with digital solutions/tools deployment.
• Experience working transnationally.
• MRP expertise and SAP experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Good teamwork ethic.
• Proficiency in English negotiation skills.
• Project management and LEAN methodology experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business.
• Willingness to travel and flexibility.
