Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver - Maldon, Essex
£14.00 - £14.80 per hour (depending on experience)
Temporary - Permanent

Shift pattern:
Rotating shifts:

1. 6am - 2pm
2. 8am - 4pm
3. 2pm - 10pm (Currently operating 8.30am - 4.30pm)

Our client based in Maldon, Essex is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver to join their small, friendly team on a temporary to permanent basis.

This role is an essential part of the business, ensuring smooth and efficient movement of stock in and out of production. While forklift driving is a key part of the job, you'll also get involved in a variety of warehouse duties including order picking, packing, pallet wrapping, and supplying product to the production line.

Key Duties of the Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver:

1. Regular operation of a Counterbalance Forklift
2. High racking and movement of product using forklift
3. Order picking and packing
4. Supplying the packing line with product
5. Stock rotation in line with company guidelines
6. Loading and unloading vehicles (by hand and forklift)
7. Dispatching products correctly and promptly
8. Completing associated paperwork accurately
9. Maintaining personal and team health and safety standards
10. Ensuring hygiene and quality standards are met

About You:

1. Experience working within FMCG, logistics distribution and supply chain environments
2. Valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift licence
3. A full, valid driving licence (essential for driving on public highways)
4. Positive attitude with a flexible, team-focused approach
5. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on role

Pay & Hours:
£14.00 - £14.80 per hour, depending on experience
Rotating shifts as above
