Van Driver / Warehouse Operative

Basingstoke

From £12.80 per hour

Immediate start - Temp to Perm

Pertemps are recruiting for Van Driver to start work on behalf of a Pipework Supply company in Basingstoke. This is a temporary to permanent contract you will temp for 12 weeks then be offered a permanent contact performance dependant.

More about the role:

• £12.80 per hour standard rate.
• 5 shifts a week Monday to Friday
• £19.20 for overtime (anything over 40 hours)
• 08:00 – 17:00 Shift times

You will be responsible for supporting in the warehouse as well as delivering goods to customers, primarily around the South, Southeast and London areas

Duties of a Van Driver/ Warehouse Operative:

• Picking and Packing orders to go to dispatch
• Cutting pipes to size (full training to be given)
• Delivering a variety of products to customers around the region, with primary focus of London
• Building good relationships with customers upon delivery
• Ensuring safety of vehicle
• Ensuring you stick to the pre-planned routes given to you when you start shift

Requirements for this Van Driver Role:

• Full UK relevant driving licence (No more than 6 points)
