Skills
IT Support Engineer
Our client is an established bank based in Central London.
They are looking to recruit an IT Support Analyst with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in IT Support and Infrastructure.
The following are the required skills for the position:
- Microsoft Windows (all versions) experience to a high level, including troubleshooting and resolving issues confidently using knowledge bases.
- Active Directory expertise, including security groups, administration/deployment, LDAP, and ADSI.
- Citrix XenApps administration, maintenance, and support of existing XenApps server farm.
- Windows Server Environment (2012/2016): design, deployment, maintenance, and support.
- VMware virtualisation environments.
- Experience with backups using various applications.
- Networking skills, including design, troubleshooting, and installation (VLAN, routing, switching, TCP/IP, OSI model).
- Router maintenance, wireless configuration, installation, and setup.
- Proficiency in PowerShell for tasks such as backup, Azure, EMC.
- VPN administration and deployment.
- DNS administration, both internal and external.
The salary for this position is circa £45K - £55K.
This is a hybrid role requiring presence in the office at least 3 days a week.
The position is a 12-month full-time contract (FTC initially).
