A leading rail contractor in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Site Manager to support minor works in a heavy admin driven role. This position focuses on paperwork and process management within Network Rail frameworks. Candidates should possess strong experience with Network Rail standards and relevant certifications. This role is based in Sussex, offering a competitive rate of £350-400/day for a six-month duration with potential extension.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a heavy admin driven role focusing on process and paperwork.
- Experience in a rail contractor environment is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Join a rail contractor on the delivery of minor works as part of CP7.
- Prepare assurance paperwork required for projects.
- Manage site staff and ensure compliance with Network Rail standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager to join a rail contractor on the delivery of minor works as part of CP7. The ideal candidate will have experience in a heavy admin driven role, with a focus on process and paperwork on Network Rail frameworks.
Rate: £350-400/day Umbrella, CIS
Location: Sussex - site / office based
Duration: 6 months, potential for extension
- Previous experience working on small value, high volume frameworks for Network Rail
- Previous experience preparing paperwork - TBs, WPPs, CPPs, risk assessments
- Previous experience managing site staff and sub-contractors
- Knowledge of Network Rail standards and design management processes
- IT literate
- Smart sheet experience preferred
- PTS, SMSTS
