Junior Structural Technician - Bristol

Are you a Structural Technician with a passion for design and problem-solving? A forward-thinking civil and structural engineering consultancy that's looking to add a Junior Structural Technician to their growing Bristol-based team.

Whether you've just finished your studies or have up to 2 years of experience, this is a brilliant opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a range of exciting structural and civil engineering projects.

What you'll be doing:
  • Supporting senior technicians and engineers on a variety of projects across multiple sectors
  • Producing 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software like AutoCAD and Revit
  • Assisting with documentation across all RIBA stages
  • Helping maintain accurate project records, drawings, and QA logs
  • Engaging with other technicians, engineers, and contractors to ensure effective collaboration
  • Staying on top of industry standards, software tools, and safety practices
What we're looking for:
  • A good standard of education (college diploma or equivalent in a relevant subject)
  • Some experience or understanding of CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit)
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to juggle priorities
  • A team player with a can-do attitude and keen attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with basic computer tools (Word, Excel)
The offer:
  • Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
  • Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday
  • Holidays: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (increasing with service)
  • Training: Ongoing on-the-job training and development
  • Location: Bristol office, with support across UK projects
