ARNE is an apparel and footwear brand/retailer based in Birchwood Park near Warrington, UK. We design and develop our products in the UK, manufacture in the near & far east, and ship directly to our customers via ARNEclo.com. We have recently expanded to be available through Selfridges both in store and online.
We have ambitious objectives for the next decade, including launching new product categories in shoes and womenswear, creating paid media, CRM activities, and expanding internationally to enhance our existing strong brand assets.
Reporting to our Head of Finance, you will play a key role in developing and executing strategies, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative, high-performing clothing and footwear to market.

Requirements
By the end of your Apprenticeship, you will be confident in:
- Supporting the Operational Finance Team with processing supplier invoices, ensuring all transactions are accurately three-way matched with purchase orders and goods receipts.
- Raising monthly Wholesale customer invoices and reconciling them with packing lists and remittance statements.
- Managing the shared Finance inbox, ensuring all queries are responded to promptly and effectively.
- Reconciling supplier statements against company records, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely invoice payments.
- Processing employee expense claims in line with company policy, ensuring accurate and timely recording in the finance system.
- Assisting with month-end close activities, including preparing accruals, prepayments, and performing reconciliations.
- Collaborating with the finance team to monitor and control purchasing costs, addressing variances.
- Carrying out other ad hoc finance-related duties as required.
- Resolving queries confidently using written and verbal communication and building strong supplier relationships.
The apprenticeship will be provided by Damar Training.
Essential skills, experience, and qualifications:
- GCSEs in Maths (6/B) and English (6/B).
- A Level in a related field (e.g., maths, business, accounting, economics).
- Strong organisational skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset and comfort with numbers.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, especially Excel).
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work with colleagues and suppliers at all levels.
- Keen to learn and develop.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage your own time effectively.
