Solutions Product Manager

Orgvue
London
GBP 50,000 - 90,000
Job description

Orgvue is an organisational design and planning platform that empowers your business to transform its workforce by understanding the work people do and the skills they have. Our platform connects strategy to structure, providing clarity of vision, so you can build a more adaptable, better performing organisation that thrives in a constantly changing world of work.

The world’s largest and best-known enterprises and consulting firms use Orgvue to visualise and model current and future states of the organisation and make faster, more informed decisions. The company is headquartered in London, with offices in Philadelphia, The Hague, Toronto, and Sydney.

As a Solutions Product Manager you are in the pivotal role of translating and helping create the company’s business and product strategy into products. In alignment to our Solutions Engineering team, you will work with a group of technical experts whose responsibility it is to create customised and new solutions within the Orgvue platform, leading on in-market innovation in partnership with our customer teams. The Product Manager for Solutions Engineering will be a unique role, working closely with the R&D SLT as well as market-facing leaders on a rapid cycle to innovate and commercialise new offerings, partnering with Product Marketing and the core platform development teams to consider feedback and impact on the broader product roadmap.

You will be fluent in the business problems Orgvue addresses and familiar with the platform; ideally you will have had hands-on experience working with Orgvue and have a deep understanding of the technology. You will be experienced in emerging product management and data practices and help embed these approaches within Orgvue.

What you will be doing:

  1. Define and manage prioritisation processes with a senior team of solutions engineers.
  2. Aggregate input from many different stakeholders and translate them into a product strategy.
  3. Conduct analysis on requirements, feedback and impact of solutions created, drawing conclusions to influence further investment and development.
  4. Foster alignment between the executive team, sales, marketing, consulting and product engineering.
  5. Evangelize the market through presentations at events, to customers, industry analysts and others.
  6. Establish and monitor appropriate product metrics / KPI and report on them.
  7. Support product marketing in creating content, sales plays, presentations and other material to educate sales, marketing, training, consulting and others.
  8. Collaborate with other members of the product management team to create a culture of growth and feedback.

What we look for:

  1. A product mindset – a desire to deliver SaaS products that create or enable value for our users and customers.
  2. A Storyteller – you have the ability to inspire others to believe in your vision for the product and the benefits it can bring.
  3. A team player – someone who enjoys collaborating with others to build software products our customers will find useful and innovative. You have the ability to work with many different stakeholders, listen to them and explain to them how your product will address their needs or concerns.
  4. Technical aptitude – you are able to get your hands dirty with the product, learn the nuances of our platform and understand what drives the work of the Solutions Engineering team.
  5. A curious mindset – as a natural innovator you have the desire to learn more about a market and customers and you are not afraid to push the envelope to build something others thought can’t be done.

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Experience with Orgvue – you have experience using the Orgvue platform and can understand how solutions deliver value to customers and partners. You can articulate technical capabilities and translate them to user benefit and impact.
  2. Experience of Product Discovery – You can evidence where you’ve applied different techniques and processes that help product teams, including product management, engineering and design, refine their ideas by deeply understanding real user problems and then seeking ways to solve them with a focus on great outcomes for the user.
  3. Experience of Full Product Lifecycle – you will have brought a large-scale complex product that leverages modern technology and data stacks to market across the full product life cycle (PLC) from idea to cash and create an appropriate product strategy that will materially impact the growth of the company.
  4. Knowledge of the Market – you have a background in human capital management or organisational software as a service that serves large global enterprises or you can demonstrate how you learn about a market, its competitive landscape and what is required to win that market.
  5. Knowledge of the Software Business – you understand how modern software businesses work in general, what drives their success and the role you play in product management to contribute to this success by creating innovative product.
