Production Planner – Manufacturing
Chorley | Up to £40,000 | Permanent
Are you an experienced Production Planner looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're partnering with a well-established manufacturing company based in Chorley to recruit a talented and proactive Production Planner to join their growing team.
As Production Planner, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining detailed production schedules to meet customer demands
- Coordinating with procurement, operations, and warehouse teams to ensure material and resource availability
- Monitoring progress against plan, identifying bottlenecks and adjusting schedules as needed
- Analysing capacity and production performance data to support continuous improvement
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to communicate lead times and resolve any production issues
- Proven experience in a Production Planning role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills
- Confident communicator who can work cross-functionally
- Able to thrive under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
