We are looking to procure an experienced“Project Manager”from a construction background to join a Devon based company with hugely exciting growth plans.
They specialise in the Design, Manufacture and Installation of bespoke Leisure Facilities across the UK, USA and Europe. Their projects range from £50k – £2m in value and their pipeline of work has exploded over the last 18 months, causing rapid expansion of the team and their service offering.
The business will see 100% growth over the next 12 months creating exciting career opportunities for their happy team.

The Role

They are looking to hire a proactive, highly organised“Project Manager”with a construction backgroundto support them delivering bespoke projects across the UK, USA and Europe. This role is hugely varied, taking control of each project from inception, all the way through to completion, supporting each department as well as the senior leadership team and external contractors and clients. Key duties include:

• End to end project management of multiple bespoke projects for clients across the globe
• Set and work to deadlines, tracking each project
• Co-ordinate internal resources across the departments, as well as managing external contractors and installers
• Oversee procurement of supplies, products and equipment – ability to prioritise in line with budget, cash flow and stock levels
• Liaise with key stakeholders within the business, identifying areas of improvement and advising on ways to develop processes & procedures and implement important changes when necessary
• Take control of 3 key areas of the business, ensuring maximum commercial gain and delivering an exceptional service for each client
• Client facing, relaying updates and answering queries regarding projects, timeframes and budgets etc.
• Management of project schedules including resource/cost loading, managing risks, issues and change

Ideal candidate

• 2/3 years experience within a project management role
• willingness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in to support the overall growth of the business
• strong initiative and a real problem solver
• strong experience with budget management
• An ‘ideas’ person who enjoys affecting positive change to add real value
• Used to dealing with subcontractors
