A healthcare organization in Oxford is recruiting a Project Officer to oversee the Warneford 200 project, commemorating mental health services. This full-time role involves project planning, stakeholder engagement, and budget management. Candidates must have significant project management experience and excellent communication skills. Warneford 200 is a project to commemorate over 200 years of mental health services provided at the Warneford Hospital in Oxford through a series of events and exhibitions over 2026 and is being coordinated by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust's charity (Oxford Health Charity - OHC). Following a successful application for funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund, OHC are now recruiting a Project Officer role to drive the delivery of the projects over the year including events, exhibitions, communications work and other commemorative projects. This is a full time 12-month fixed term contract and can be offered as a secondment opportunity.
You'll report to the Head of Charity and work with other key project leads already working on the project. A Warneford 200 Delivery Group is in place to plan and coordinate project delivery and the successful candidate will play a key role in this group and success of the project as well as with other local stakeholders involved in the commemoration year.
