Following a successful application for funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund, OHC are now recruiting a Project Officer role to drive the delivery of the projects over the year including events, exhibitions, communications work and other commemorative projects. This is a full time 12-month fixed term contract and can be offered as a secondment opportunity.

Identify and allocate resources, set timelines, and establish project milestones reporting to the W200 Delivery Group, Head of Charity (line management) and where required the Charity Committee.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Track project progress against milestones and deliverables through development of effective project controls e.g. project plan, action log, risk register, etc. Prepare and present regular status reports to stakeholders and senior management and grant bodies as required.
  • Stakeholder Management & Communications: Engage with key W200 stakeholders (working with other project leads focused on engagement), including volunteers, service users, experts by experience, and community members. Develop and deliver a W200 Communications Plan working with the Trust's Communication Team.
  • Budget and Resource Management: Monitor project budgets, escalate approvals to head of charity and senior W200 leads, and ensure efficient use of resources. Identify and address any financial risks or issues.
