Job summary
A local council in Barnsley is seeking a Project Officer to assist in project management, ensuring timely and budgeted delivery. Responsibilities include providing guidance, managing project risks, and supporting performance management. Ideal candidates will have strong organizational and communication skills. This role offers a pay of £18.35 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Assist with project management, coordinating resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensure that projects are effectively planned and managed within a formal programme and project management framework.
- Provide advice and guidance regarding project complexities and milestones.
- Support the maintenance of project risk registers and resolve issues to ensure delivery.
- Assist in performance management and data analysis for improvement.
- Assist in evaluating and implementing processes to enhance project delivery.
