The role will be based in our London office and report to the Senior VM Manager, UKI.

This role will work on successfully adapting global campaign and evergreen assets to produce regional-specific 3D & 2D outputs in all physical retail environments that meet UKI VM and business objectives. Primary responsibilities include designing creative displays whilst ensuring adherence to global VM guidelines. This includes (but is not limited to) permanent VM displays, planogram updates for NPD/shelf moves, in-store collateral and consumer-facing communication, pricing updates and pop-up and brand activations in key UKI retailers. This role will also support the Senior VM Manager with large-scale pop-ups, events, and Marketing OOH activations.

Under the supervision of the Senior VM Manager UKI, this individual will also collaborate closely with the global VM teams to ensure brand consistency and excellence in execution across all VM touchpoints. Additionally, on a project basis, they will partner with cross-functional partners within the UKI sales to ensure all VM executions are aligned to the UKI business objectives and priorities.

The role will also be working across key marketing, media & PR initiatives, supporting the team on localization of 2D assets across various formats, such as large billboards, retailer-led campaigns, in-store and shopping mall takeovers. You will work as the brand guardian in collaboration with the Senior Marketing Manager & their team, to execute and/or guide agencies across a variation of different projects, ensuring we are localizing our campaigns whilst adhering to global guidelines.

This individual must have an entrepreneurial spirit, strong design sensibilities, and excellent time management skills to thrive and make an impact in a dynamic, fast-paced environment of a rapidly growing and category-disrupting brand.

VM, Store Design, Pop-ups & Events

• Ensure consistent brand execution that adheres to global guidelines and brand standards across all Sol de Janeiro retail environments
• Manage the downloading, storing, and sharing out of all 2D & 3D assets to suppliers in a timely manner
• Manage the 3D design development process through to approval for all retail activations, ensuring feedback and amendments are complete in a timely manner
• Work with the Assistant Manager - Visual Merchandising - Events and Activation to ensure all renders & assets are delivered to the suppliers & retailers
• Work with the Assistant Manager Permanent Visual Merchandising on all collateral, communication strips & shelf talkers for all NPD launches, sharing final asset packs with the supplier, and seeing all printed collateral through to approval
• Oversee and support the development of any local unit, POS for NPD and small to medium VM activations/events in collaboration with the VM team
• Manage suppliers through a clear briefing process using your design skills for all assigned projects, managing timelines & budgets to launch projects on time
• Review & approve detailed designs of all VM activations such as glorifiers & pop-ups in partnership with Senior VM Manager

Marketing

• Receive briefs from the marketing team for 2D campaign initiatives across OOH (e.g. billboards, mall takeovers) and brand events, and develop assets or brief agencies accordingly
• Provide full suite of campaign assets to all marketing & PR agencies in good time
• Direct & feedback to agencies on creative execution, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years experience
• Creative and good sense of design
• Coordination skills and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
• Ability to come up with ideas and designs and bring them to life
• Understanding of print process for all in-store 2D graphics
• Understanding and ability to work with fonts, communication hierarchy, and graphic design principles
• Portfolio focused on beauty or luxury demonstrating all design stages
• Focus on elevating self-navigation and in-store consumer experience in all store environments, with guidance
• Experience managing vendor relationships
• Materials, manufacturing, and installation execution knowledge
• Experience in Boots/Sephora/Department Stores
• Collaborative team player
• This role requires 3 days per week in our London Office

Software Requirements

• Competent with Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch up, V-Ray or any other 3D experience
• Office 365 - Excel and Word capabilities required
