Job summary
A leading automotive recruitment agency is seeking a qualified LCV Technician to join a multi-franchise car dealership in Bristol. The role offers a starting salary ranging from £27,000 to £45,000 per annum, plus a bonus scheme and various benefits such as 30 days annual leave, brand-accredited training, and enhanced overtime pay. This position includes responsibilities like general servicing, repairing vehicle defects, and preparing vehicles for MOT tests. Flexibility in working hours is offered, with a structured four-day workweek and occasional Saturday shifts.

Responsibilities
- Perform general servicing and repairs on LCVs.
- Prepare vehicles for MOT tests and handle repair work.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and complete necessary paperwork.
Skills
We are recruiting on behalf of our Automotive multi-franchise Car Dealership Client for a LCV Technician / Van Technician based in the Bristol area.
- Starting salary from £27,000-£45,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications
- Bonus scheme providing up to an extra £4,000+ per annum.
- Overtime is paid at an enhanced rate.
- 30 days annual leave (including the bank holidays)

- General Servicing
- Repair of Vehicle Defects
- MOT preparation and repair work
- Vehicle Inspection
- Completion of associated paperwork
- Fully Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a LCV Technician / Van Technician
- Working experience within a busy LCV Workshop
- Have an up-to-date knowledge of current repair methods
- Driving Licence is Essential.
The salary of this Van Technician position is £45,000 basic with OTE of £45,000.
The hours of work within this role are 7:30am‑6:00pm across a 4‑day week with flexibility on days worked, and 1-in-4 Saturdays 8:00am‑1:00pm.
