Job summary

An ecological consultancy is seeking enthusiastic Seasonal Ecologists for a 6-month fixed term contract. The roles are based in Guiseley and involve conducting night time bat surveys, participating in team projects, and developing fieldwork skills. Candidates should have, or be pursuing, a degree in Ecology or related field. Training will be provided, and flexibility in hours is possible with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have a degree in Ecology or be working towards one.
• Previous ecological surveying experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Undertake night time bat survey work as part of a team.
• Participate in bat emergence surveys and static monitoring.
• Occasional daytime surveys may also be available.
