Job summary
A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a candidate with mechanical or piping experience for a key role in a landmark nuclear energy project in Bristol. Responsibilities include producing work packs and collaborating with experts to ensure project success. Ideal candidates will have relevant education, security clearance eligibility, and proficiency in Navisworks and Excel. Join a commitment to creating an inclusive and diverse workforce.
Qualifications
- Eligible for UK security clearance (BPSS or higher).
- Background in regulated sectors, ideally nuclear.
- Valid CCNSG Safety Passport.
Responsibilities
- Produce discipline-specific construction work packs.
- Support the planning and scheduling of mechanical and piping activities.
- Define clear scope boundaries for assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and client representatives.
- Maintain documentation accuracy and compliance.

This role would suit candidates working in these roles: Piping Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Construction Engineer, Work Pack Engineer, Project Engineer, Site Engineer, Installation Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Nuclear Engineer, Senior Engineer.

- Support the planning and scheduling of mechanical and piping activities.
- Define clear scope boundaries for assigned tasks.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and client representatives to ensure alignment.
- Maintain documentation accuracy and compliance, raising queries or updates as needed.
- Degree‑level education, vocational training, or hands‑on experience in mechanical/piping installation.
- Eligible for UK security clearance (BPSS or higher).
- Valid CCNSG Safety Passport.
- Background in regulated sectors, ideally nuclear.
- Proficient in Navisworks and Excel, with experience on large‑scale construction projects.
