MERITUS are recruiting for a Test & Inspection Engineer to join our client in a permanent position to support upcoming energy projects across the green and nuclear sectors.

TEST & INSPECTION ENGINEER - £NEG - ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC - STONE, STAFFORDSHIRE - FAST MOVING PROCESS

The main duties of an Inspection & Test Engineer include:

  • Conducting Inspections and Tests: Carrying out thorough inspections and a variety of electrical tests, including point-to-point wiring checks, electrical safety assessments, and equipment functionality testing.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Completing detailed test and inspection reports, assembly record cards, and other documentation to ensure full traceability and compliance.
  • Adherence to Standards: Working in accordance with electrical schematic drawings, project-specific hardware test specifications, and relevant industry regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, CE, British Standards).
  • Collaboration: Working closely with production teams, design engineers, and clients to maintain high-quality standards and meet project deadlines.
  • On-site Work: Occasionally traveling to customer or supplier sites to verify functionality, support testing, and ensure compliance.
