Job summary

Qualifications

- Previous experience in operating a Counterbalance FLT required.

Responsibilities
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to move goods safely.
- Load and unload deliveries efficiently.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance on equipment.

Position:FLT Counterbalance Driver
Location:Rochester, Kent.
Salary:£16.89ph
Hours:Rotating Days and Nights (3 days working, 1 day off, 3 nights working, 3 days off). Day shift 0630 to 1830 / Night shift 1830 to 0630
Contract Type:Temporary ongoing
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently to move goods around the yard and plant.
- Load and unload deliveries with precision.
- Ensure all products are stored in the correct location and are easily accessible.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on equipment.
- Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- When there is no FLT duties, other work such as cleaning and helping in the plant will be involved.
Essential Requirements:
- Valid FLT Counterbalance license (must be accredited and in-date).
- Previous experience in operating a Counterbalance FLT.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment.
