Job summary
A growing FinTech company in the UK is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team. This fully remote position requires expertise in either Golang or PHP, along with experience in JavaScript frameworks. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams on existing and new projects, contributing to innovative solutions in the payments industry.
Qualifications
- Experience within Go or PHP and experience within JavaScript frameworks.
- Knowledge of SQL and GraphQL.
- Previous experience of helping to mentor and coach colleagues.
- Good experience working with APIs and managing large volumes of data.
- Knowledge in GCP or other Cloud hosting infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the team to support on existing projects whilst planning for future projects.
- Communicate across internal teams to gather requirements, working closely with product.
- Support the product and engineering teams to architect effective solutions.
- Help build and manage relationships with internal teams.

We're currently partnered with a scaling Series B FinTech who are currently looking for a Software Engineer to join their team as continue to disrupt the payments industry.
The business has had significant growth this year already with recent investment and they are now looking to continue to scale existing products and build new projects.
- Work closely with the team to support on existing projects whilst planning for future projects
- Communicate across internal teams to gather requirements, working closely with product to scope and implement functionality, accurately and efficiently
- Support the product and engineering teams to architect effective solutions to complex problems
- Help build and manage relationships with internals teams and support on newly developed products and features
- Experience within Go or PHP and experience within JavaScript frameworks
- Knowledge of SQL and GraphQL
- Previous experience of helping to mentor and coach colleagues
- Good experience working with APIs and managing large volumes of data
- Knowledge in GCP or other Cloud hosting infrastructure
