The candidate will lead a marketing team and be accountable for the marketing spend, define and own marketing strategy which will require working with sales and product to understand and define key objectives. They will build and lead a high-performance marketing function, use data to direct spend and measure ROI, develop a clear and articulate brand identity highlighting differences in target markets and product capability, ensure consistency of website and marketing collateral, plan and manage media campaigns across multiple channels, and manage PR and agency relationships.
Requirements include a track record of building brands, ideally in a B2B and/or B2B2C environment, experience working in multiple international financial markets with knowledge of key industry events. Ideally, candidates will have a strong understanding of professional corporate services, wealth management, and captive insurance sectors, and experience marketing to these sectors on an international basis. A proven track record of building and managing a cross-functional team to succeed in scale-up/start-up environments is also required.
